Really incredible location right next to Old Town. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. I really enjoyed the breakfast, they had pastries, English breakfast, fruit, salad and yogurt. It got a little busy at times, but never had to wait long. The beds were comfy, rooms were very clean and quiet. Great hotel overall!

Crazy bar man shouting at me in reception area

We had a lovely stay until the last day when we were sitting in reception as we had a two hour wait before we headed to get the airport.. we sat in a section outside the bar behind a glass panel and the bar man came out and told us we weren’t allowed to sit there as it was for business. My son offered to buy a drink and was told no. I complained to reception who called the man out and explained that we should be allowed sit there he proceeded to shout at me in the reception area saying we were eating(we had chocolate) and we couldn’t sit there.. I complained to the manager who spoke to the man but there was no apology and I could hear them laughing together as she was talking to him.. so rude and ignorant would not stay here again or recommend to friends or family

i was sat in the seats just outside the bar with my brother, when i was approached by a barman who asked if i wanted a drink. I told him my mother was on her way and that she was gonna get a glass of wine , when he started shouting at me. it was extremely rude and disrespectful. he told me i wasn’t allowed to sit there (it wasn’t in the bar) as i had food (a bar of chocolate that wasn’t even opened). he continued to scream at me until i got fed up and went to the lobby. i told the receptionist and he said i was allowed to sit there and he was not sure why the barman was so rude. the barman then came over to reception and shouted even more. He was extremely rude and demeaning. The management was also useless. Do not go here.

Beautiful hotel but the service did not meet the standard

Despite sending several pre-trip emails to the hotel, there was either no response or delayed responses, which was a bit disappointing given the high expectations I had for this beautiful hotel. Upon check-in, we discovered that the room wasn't a suite as expected. When inquiring at the reception, we were informed about a connecting room to the living room, but it was locked. We had to wait for staff to unlock it. This was disheartening, especially since my husband had booked a suite to celebrate my birthday, and the room wasn't fully prepared. Additionally, the hair dryer was not working, and the response from the reception was unhelpful, which was unexpected for a hotel of this caliber. Furthermore, the soundproofing of the room was subpar. Clear noises from the adjacent room and the street disrupted the overall experience. While I understand that external factors contribute to this, the overall stay was less enjoyable. It's regrettable that the service did not match the beauty of the hotel and the quality of the room. However, the saving grace was the delightful breakfast, which elevated the overall experience.

The hotel is between the old square and Wenceslas square which we found perfect. Breakfast was lovely and so were the staff. There was building work going on next door in a large building (starting at 7am). We were not warned about this by Jet 2 or the hotel prior to our visit. Our room was directly next to the work and it was very loud and disruptive to the point our room was shaking with the impact of the drilling etc. I did go to reception to tell them and they said not our problem deal with it! It is ongoing work so if you are visiting soon then be warned.
